How do I choose the best size?
Our style of gown is very forgiving when it comes to sizing. The stretch fabric allows a comfortable fit across 3 sizes easily. The length is a standard 120cm drop from the waistband for the the full length designs; the non fray raw edge allows for easy tailoring of the hem which can be easily done at home with a rotary cutting blade. To find your best fit view our size chart for max stretch capactiy.
Generally our plain stretch fabrics fit as follows XS 4-8; S 8-12; M 12-16; L 18-22; XL 22-26; XXL 26-30. If you are on cusp of a size it is better to go up rather than down.
How Do I Care For My Garment?
Our garments are very low maintenance! To wash your Multiway items, be sure to place in a garment bag (or if you don’t have one, a pillowcase or pillow protector with zip work well too) to avoid the straps over stretching and tangling in the wash. Wash on a regular cold cycle, if you don’t put your garment in a laundry bag, use a gentle wash cycle. Do don’t try to wring your dress. Dry immediately by hanging from the waistband. If creases appear use a low heat setting on an iron or if time permits generally any creases will naturally fall out on their own after being hung by the waistband for a few hours. To store either hang by the waistband or fold a put away.
What is the best way to trim the length of my dress?
The stretch fabrics we use can be somewhat slippery when trying to cut with conventional scissors. We recommend for a nice sharp cut to use a rotary blade. These can be purchased fairly cheaply from any haberdashery store such as Spotlight and are found in the quilting section. Simply measure how much needs to come off and follow the hem around with the cutter. The fabrics are non fray so don’t need hemming ( to prevent loose sequins, you may want to finish any sequin fabrics with a serger or hem )
Can I try these dresses on? Absolutely!
We are currently moving and will update appointment availability soon.
